Production method of tungsten carbide: Usually, tungsten and carbon are used as raw materials. Tungsten powder with an average particle size of 3-5 μ m is dry mixed with an equal amount of carbon black using a ball mill. After thorough mixing, it is pressurized and shaped. Then, it is placed in a graphite disc and heated to 1400-1700 ℃ in a hydrogen gas flow in a graphite resistance furnace or induction furnace to react and produce tungsten carbide.
